TIMOTHY EATON - DIRECTOR / DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Timothy Eaton loves motion pictures. Cinematic style is at the core of his work, along with a profound belief in the power of pure image. Since attending Art Center College of Design in Film Studies, he has worked variously as a Director, Cinematographer, Producer, Writer, and Editor of commercials, features, documentaries, television movies and corporate films and videos.
His clients have included American Express, IBM, PG&E, Sports Illustrated Television, NBC, CBS, MGM, Turner Network Television, Hilton Hotels, Xerox, The Winter Olympics, Johnson & Johnson, Proctor & Gamble, Deutsche Bank, Kroger Stores, BMW, Mattel, Nescafe, Sara Lee, Tony Roma’s, McDonald’s, Pillsbury, and many others.
His credits as Director of Photography include the movie Death Train for USA Network and Yorkshire Television, Home Invasion for Sony Tristar and NBC, The Micronauts for CBS, and TNT movie of the week Dead On The Money. As Director of Photography he established the visual style for the kids series Last Chance Detectives and the thirteen part McGee And Me series.
He is a recipient of the Los Angeles Emmy Cinematography Award for the production of L.A. Above & Below. Mr. Eaton has taught Advanced Cinematography and Lighting at the Art Center College of Design, and Film Production at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. He lives with his family and Jack Russell Terrier, Sparky, in Santa Barbara, California.
