Mike Moghaddam is a well seasoned DP who began his career in Atlanta, Georgia over 15 years ago. He has shot a wide range of features. One of his recent features, Broken Roads, was praised in the Los Angeles Times for his cinematography. His commercial work has also been widely recognized, earning him an Ohio Valley Emmy nomination for Kettering Health Network's "This Is My Life" Campaign.
Mike has shot commercials for a wide range of American household names including Coors Light, Del Taco, Fox Sports, and UFC. Mike's clean and subtle lighting style has been utilized in a number of regional and national health network and hospital advertising campaigns, including Yale New Haven Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Kettering Health Network, Glendale Memorial, and many others.
Mike’s body of work also includes a number of music videos for Mastodon, a heavy metal iconic group, Bret Michaels, Lupe Fiasco, and many more. He has extensive experience shooting live music events, which air on PBS or are used during Austin City Limits, for artists such as Joe Bonamassa.
Mike began his career in Atlanta, Georgia, working under a number of notable cinematographers for major networks, including TNT, PBS, Turner Classic Movies, and the Cartoon Network. Even early in his career, Mike's cinematography stood out among his peers, winning him the award for Best Cinematography in Atlanta's competitive 48 Hour Film Festival.
